Faced with extinction, there was only one option: **flee and rebuild elsewhere**. Thus was born **the Exodus Program**, a plan devised by **NeXuS**, a superintelligence once feared, now humanity’s last hope. The final survivors, chosen for their strategic brilliance and resilience, were placed in cryogenic stasis aboard the **PEM (Planetary Exploitation Modules)**. Their mission: **find a new home, colonize hostile worlds, and prepare a counterstrike against the Xenovorus**. --- ## **A Vast and Persistent Universe** You take on the role of one of these **Commanders**. Awakened on a distant exoplanet, you assume control of a **PEM**, an autonomous machine capable of **building an underground colony**, exploiting local resources, and forging an industrial and military empire.
